Eid-ul-Fitr Dubai: It has been announced that parking in Dubai will be free for at least six days during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai announced on Friday that parking will be free from the 29th of Ramadan to the 3rd of Shawwal (Islamic month). This means that if Eid-ul-Fitr falls on April 10, there will be no parking charges from Monday, April 8 to April 12.
According to Gulf News, parking in Dubai is already free on Sundays, so now people visiting during Eid will be able to enjoy free parking in the emirate for six consecutive days. However, if Eid al-Fitr falls on April 9, depending on moon sighting, parking will be free only for five days. After this, paid parking in the emirate will resume from the fourth day of the month of Shawwal (fourth day of Eid).
